Since I’ve been travelling back and forth between the US and Italy, I’ve found myself forced into a more solitary lifestyle by mostly circumstance. I’ve had more time to think, create, and work. In the maelstrom of productivity, I would caution against drowning. A work-life balance is important and remember to make time for a personal and social life. Solitude is a gift, but isolation is a curse.

Things like friendships are far from distractions, in fact I would argue that they are part of why we do what we do at all. I have friends, some close and others more spread out. Remember to keep your close relationships near your heart, to remind you of why it is that you do what you do.
I do it for them. I want to make a better world for them. A better me for them.

Remember to be human.
